A Christian education is the highest form of learning. At the Academy, the knowledge of God is combined with the academic material because God is the Creator and sustainer of life and His rightful place is in the academics of any learning institution.

We do not apologize for the presence of the knowledge of the Most Holy; in fact, we boast that it makes the Academy a special place for our children to learn.

mission statement

We aspire at the Academy, along with our Godly teachers, to prepare the students for the life ahead. This includes helping them to recognize a career that is right for them, producing students with moral fiber and instilling a love and respect for God in them.

calendar

The school year is 180 days, which coincides with the Government's school year. The same holidays will be observed. The Academy will open to students In September 2023. School days will go from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Thursday, except for state holidays. Friday is a study at home day.

instruction

The students all share the same “learning center.” The materials are called “paces,” and there are twelve for each course. Each year the students are required to complete all twelve paces in each course in order to be promoted to the next grade.

patriotism

At AHL, we believe patriotism to our nation is of the upmost importance to keep our country strong and standing as the United States of America, one nation under God. Each morning will begin with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance.

​

dress code

We believe proper attire induces good learning so a dress code is required. Golf shirts, docker slacks and sneakers. 

​

promotion

When a student completes all required work, that student is then permitted to advance to the next grade.

​

parental participation

Parental participation in your child’s education and your support of the school will help to insure the student’s greatest potential for higher learning. We are very grateful to the parents who realize the value or their child’s education and we appreciate and understand the sacrifice you may be making to provide this for your child. Let’s all work together to make this a win/win situation.
